Foton d.o.o. was established in 1990 in Zagreb-Croatia. During last 12 years the company has been working on applicative solutions’ development and information system development for Croatian market needs. We are focused on providing software support to commercial firms in expansion.
The first software programme we developed was the one for PC-cash-registers – POS(Point of Sale) and we were among the first in Croatia to install PC –cash-registers in retail trade stores.

We used Clipper programming language and Xbase tables for DOS platform. Application for monitoring merchandise business, financial business, payroll accounts, catering business etc. were produced. Together with development of PC networks we upgraded multi-user-applications which use PC networks.

During the year 1998, together with our new programmers, we started developing WIN32 application for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft NT. These products are based on client /server techology in total graphical environment (MDI).

We use Microsoft Visual Studio and C++, CA Visual Objects, Erwin, ReportPro and other specific active-x controls for specific kind of solutions. The hardwork result is seen in software solutions and applications brought to modern standards.
